Duties
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly to ensure timely service
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation protocols
- Support cooking processes by measuring, mixing, and preparing ingredients under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Serve food to customers or assist servers during busy periods
- Follow all food safety regulations and standards diligently
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration in the kitchen environment
- Experience with meal preparation or kitchen experience in the food industry is a plus but not mandatory
