We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of multi-family residential properties across Ontario. The successful candidate will bring over a decade of hands-on experience in property management, outstanding leadership and customer service skills, and be comfortable using a variety of digital platforms and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple multi-family residential properties
- Conduct regular on-site visits across Ontario (travel is required)
- Supervise and coordinate with on-site Superintendents and maintenance staff
- Manage maintenance projects, repairs, and capital improvements
- Provide exceptional service to tenants and respond to concerns in a timely manner
- Handle lease renewals, rent collections, move-ins/move-outs, and tenant communications
- Utilize Yardi Management Software, Excel, Google Workspace, and other technology platforms to maintain records and streamline operations
- Prepare budgets, analyze financial reports, and ensure cost-effective property management
- Ensure all operations comply with local laws, building codes, and company policies
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operations
- Lead by example to foster a collaborative, service-oriented team culture
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience managing multi-family residential properties
- Proficiency in Yardi, Excel, and Google platforms
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to resolve tenant and property issues efficiently and professionally
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for site travel
- Customer service background and ability to work well with diverse populations
- Self-motivated, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented
