Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide support and assistance to a senior couple in their own home. The RCW (Resident Care Worker) will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, assistance with light housekeeping and managing the day to day upkeep of the home. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those in need of hospice or dementia care, ensuring they receive respectful, personalized care in a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication administration and monitor health status as directed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when required
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Document care provided and report any changes in health or behavior to supervisors or healthcare providers
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure client safety
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or home care is highly desirable
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, dementia, or hospice patients is preferred
- Knowledge of caregiving best practices including medication administration and patient care techniques
- Familiarity with working in environments requiring heavy lifting and physical assistance
- Previous roles involving meal preparation, cleaning, and general caregiving duties are advantageous
- Certification or training in nursing or caregiving is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential

Flexible hours, 3 to 4 hours a day, for up to 5 days per week.
