Lead by example, managing, servicing and growing accounts by providing business solutions to customers with 60% of the work over the telephone and 40% with regular customer visits or meetings; Coach and assist peers in managing, servicing and growing their own accounts with customers. Responsible for over 50 accounts with average growth percentage.
Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals. Remain knowledgeable of industry trends, general economic conditions, financial practices and the broad spectrum of D&B Canada products and their applications. Utilize the entire scope of D&B products (where applicable), solutions and services to meet customers’ business goals.
Daily customer contact via inbound, outbound telephone campaigns, web and email. Includes driving results through a matrix approach that includes the execution of targeted campaigns, pipeline management, talk time, call volume
Mentor new and current team members in their roles, D&B products and appropriate selling techniques. Provide manager with information on progress, as well as reporting and statistics for the team.
Subject matter expert in all LOB segments for the team
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing or related field strongly preferred
Three - five years of business-to-business sales experience (consultative or value-based selling)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required
Exceptional coaching, mentoring and personal leadership skills
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Applications required
