Procom is searching for a Human Resources Business Partner for a 1-year contract role. This position is fully onsite at our client’s Calgary office.
Human Resources Business Partner - Job Description:
This role involves providing strategic HR support to leaders within the Upstream - Canadian Thermal & Conventional Heavy Oil portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with the broader Strategic HR Partner team, HR Centers of Expertise, and the People Services Team to deliver programs and services that align with the business and people strategy and plans.
Human Resources Business Partner - Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership teams in planning and implementing the people components of the business strategy
- Influence Company strategy, business, and people plans to meet client group requirements
- Assess people trends impacting business strategy and plan delivery
- Diagnose organization issues and facilitate improvement and change
- Lead and facilitate employee development, talent reviews, and succession planning
- Provide change management consulting for successful change execution
- Gather client feedback to align services with business needs
- Provide advice on organization design, workforce planning, and talent development
Human Resources Business Partner - Mandatory Skills:
- Post-secondary degree in a related field
- Minimum 8+ years HRBP experience
- Minimum of 5+ years in Organizational Effectiveness / Team Effectiveness
- CHRP designation or equivalent
- Strong collaboration and business partnering skills
- Expertise in Org Design, Org Effectiveness, and Leadership Coaching
- Driven to provide HR functional excellence and process optimization
Human Resources Business Partner – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Adult Learning certifications
- Experience influencing culture and senior leadership
- Experience with Canadian Thermal & Conventional Heavy Oil portfolios
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
Human Resources Business Partner – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position.
