Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and passionate FOH Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our establishment. Our ideal candidate will want to continuing working as a Server and/or Bartender while extending their career into a management role. This candidate is a natural leader who has server & bartender experience, excels in delivering exceptional guest experiences, can manage staff and loves working with people.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and motivate restaurant staff to ensure top-quality service and maintain a positive work environment.
· Ensure daily operations are running smoothly as per guidelines and check sheets.
· Managing staff scheduling and adhering to proper paperwork requirements.
· Experience using Excel for Back End financial reporting.
· Monitor food quality, customer service, and hygiene standards to maintain compliance with company and government regulations.
· Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
· Collaborates with Kitchen Manager to ensure seamless service.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and all relevant legislation.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in restaurant industry with hospitality leadership as a bonus.
· Post-secondary education in hospitality, business administration, or a related field preferred.
· Proven ability to lead & motivate.
· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge of food safety regulations and experience with inventory management preferred
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Typical work activities:
Business activities:
- Taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant.
- Preparing financial and in-house reports at the end of the day/week/month
Front-of-house:
- Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
- Managing staff and providing them with feedback.
- Responding to customer complaints.
- Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's uniform standards.
- Meeting and greeting customers and organizing table reservations.
- Advising customers on menu and wine choice.
- Recruiting, training and motivating staff.
- Organizing and supervising the shifts of kitchen, waiting and cleaning staff.
Housekeeping:
- Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
- Checking stock levels and ordering supplies.
- Preparing cash drawers and providing petty cash as required.
- Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.
Typical job responsibilities include:
- Recruiting, training and supervising staff
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines
- Promoting and marketing the business
- Overseeing stock levels
- Ordering supplies
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints

- Preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports
- Keeping statistical and financial records
- Assessing and improving profitability
- Handling administration and paperwork
- Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
