Job Title: Java Developer
Duration: 06+ Months Contract (Possible Extensions)
Location: Toronto, ON
Work Model: Hybrid (2 to 3 days/week onsite)
Job Description:
- Looking for a Java Developer with strong experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to build and maintain backend services and APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain REST APIs using Spring Boot
- Design and implement microservices architecture
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
- Participate in SDLC – design, development, testing, and deployment
- Prioritize and execute tasks within timelines
- Debug and fix issues in existing applications
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Core Java (Java 8+)
- Experience with Spring Boot
- Good understanding of Microservices architecture
- Experience in building RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of Spring Batch (preferred)
- Basic understanding of databases (MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with Git version control

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
