Job: Experienced Roofers
Location: Abbotsford
Pay: $31.00 per hour to $34.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

We are hiring a Skilled Flat Roofer with strong SBS/Torch-On experience as well as Experienced Roofers for a full-time roofing position in British Columbia.
The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience installing and repairing SBS modified bitumen roofing systems, including torch-applied membranes. This is a skilled position requiring someone who can work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Freshers and candidates without professional roofing experience will not be considered.
- Install, repair and maintain flat and low-slope roofing systems
- Install SBS modified bitumen roofing membranes
- Perform Torch-On roofing applications using propane roofing torches
- Install base sheets, cap sheets and related roofing materials
- Prepare roof surfaces before membrane installation
- Complete flashing and waterproofing around drains, vents, edges and roof penetrations
- Measure, cut and fit roofing materials accurately
- Perform roofing repairs and assist with leak detection
- Handle roofing materials, tools and equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow company and site-specific health and safety procedures
- Work safely at heights and use required fall protection systems
- Proven professional roofing experience is mandatory
- Strong hands-on SBS/Torch-On roofing experience is mandatory for the Flat roofers
- Experience with flat or low-slope roofing systems
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate a propane roofing torch
- Knowledge of SBS modified bitumen installation, flashing and waterproofing
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Fall Protection training is required
- Ability to safely use required PPE and fall protection equipment
- Physically able to lift roofing materials and perform demanding manual work
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Workers must comply with all applicable WorkSafeBC requirements and site-specific safety procedures. Required PPE may include CSA-approved Steel Toes, hard hat, high-visibility clothing, gloves, eye protection and fall protection equipment as applicable.
