Salary: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour (depending on experience)
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Stick / MIG Welder to join our production team in Brampton. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, joining, and repairing metal parts and structures using both MIG and Stick welding techniques.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of welding safety regulations, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
Perform high-quality MIG and Stick welding on various metal components and structures.
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings to plan layouts.
Clamp, hold, tack-weld, or component-weld parts into position for fabrication.
Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
Operate fabrication workshop equipment safely, including grinders, cutters, and drills.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations in accordance with safety standards.
Proven experience as a MIG and Stick Welder.
Strong knowledge of metal types, welding properties, and fabrication techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Possession of a valid welding certification (CWB) is an asset, but practical experience is highly valued.
Ability to lift heavy metal parts and stand for extended periods.
Strong focus on workplace safety and PPE compliance.
Competitive hourly wage ($24.00 - $27.00/hr)
