Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent driving. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated destinations.
- Load and unload the daily stock, bread, ingredients, etc.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to maintain vehicle safety and functionality.
- Assist with the loading and securing of freight, ensuring proper handling of cargo.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred; valid driver’s license required.
- Previous driving job preffered
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation purposes.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) regularly and work in physically demanding environments.
- Excellent driving record with a clean background check required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including early mornings or late evenings depending on delivery schedules.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
