We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
Boring Mill Operator with 3+ years experience
Qualified candidates only
Must be able to read blue prints and operate a Vertical Boring Mill Independently
Salary to be negotiated for the right candidate.
Manual vertical boring Mill experience mandatory.
- Operate milling machines and related equipment to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during the fabrication process.
- Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise.
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions of finished products.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery, including press brake machines.
- Familiarity with programming CNC machines is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Experience operating forklifts is advantageous.
- Ability to fabricate components based on specifications provided in blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
