With the additions of soft serve, coffee service, vinyl records, lifestyle items and grocery as well as a second location in Killarney established in 2010, Lukes aims to offer a one stop shop for everyday living.
Key Responsibilities: Working closely with the Store Managers and other team members, you will be responsible for:
- Stocking shelves and replenishing product from the back room
- Facing shelves to keep the store looking full, tidy, and shoppable
- Rotating product using FIFO (first in, first out) to minimize waste and expiry
- Ensuring shelf labels are present, accurate, and clearly visible
- Identifying and processing expired or damaged product
- Supporting inventory counts, receiving, and stock accuracy checks
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe stock room
- Greeting customers in a friendly and welcoming manner and assisting them on the floor
- Operating the POS to process customer transactions and supporting on till as needed during busy periods
- Other duties as required
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in retail, grocery, or customer service
- Minimum 30 hours per week with open weekend availability (Sat/Sun)
- Friendly, approachable, and comfortable engaging with customers throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail, especially with dates, labels, and product placement
- Able to switch between focused stocking work and customer-facing service without missing a beat
- Strong organizational skills and a methodical approach to repetitive work
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory counts
- Comfortable using handheld scanners, POS systems, or learning new tools
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Schedule:
- 4 - 8 hour shifts

- Shifts may rotate between the Bridgeland and Killarney locations
- Please note, morning shifts start as earlier as 6:45am
Pay: $18.60 per hour
