Job description:
Reporting to the Inventory & merchandising Manager, the day stock occupies a critical position enabling the organization to achieve its objectives. Having a background in inventory and/or merchandising, the desired candidate is ambitious, eager for success and results, has inventory and/or merchandising experience, the ability to execute inventory & merchandising daily operations and ultimately demonstrates a passion for the tool industry. Demonstrating a desire to achieve high levels of standards, the day stock has a need to elevate customer service experience by following establish procedures. The quality of customer service and the customer experience is his first priority.
Main responsibilities:·
- Demonstrate daily teamwork skills to support the inventory & merchandising team.
- Bring merchandise to cash station with efficiency for customers.
- Move merchandise from Warehouse to the floor and overstocks areas.
- Sales oriented, he has the ability to make the merchandise attractive and easy to shop for customers in order to fulfill purchaser needs.
- Validate tool types reports for pricing accuracy and assigning homes for inventory.
- Will be preparing/printing and installing price tags and promotions.
- Easy to work with and collaborative.
- Follow company standards regarding inventory management and price tagging.
- All other tasks ask by management team.
Experience
- All inventory & merchandising experience will be considered.
- Must be interested in the tool industry.
- Must have the ability to work in an organized manner, have a work ethic where judgment, logical reasoning and initiative are advocated and used daily.
- Inventory management knowledge will be considered as an asset.
- Must be able to adapt to changes, delays, and unforeseen events in a positive and professional manner.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
Skills

- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent ability to follow work procedures
- Ability and thirst for continuous learning
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

- Training in management or inventory & merchandising management is consider as an asset.
This is a full-time, permanent position, 40 hours/week, the 5-day work week includes 2 days off per week, Sunday (closed) and one day during the week.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
