Flynn’s Public House — Penetanguishene, ON
Flynn’s Public House is looking for an experienced, motivated, and dependable Front of House Manager to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, has exceptional customer service skills, and is ready to take ownership of all aspects of our front-of-house operations. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who leads by example, takes pride in their work, and wants to become a long-term part of our team.

- Ensuring staff are following proper cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Communicating effectively with the kitchen and management team
- Helping maintain consistency in our service, products, and overall guest experience
- Taking initiative when something needs to be done rather than waiting to be asked

- Previous restaurant, bar, hospitality, or FOH management experience
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills

- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of a busy restaurant environment
The Person We're Looking For
More than anything, we're looking for the right person.
We want someone who takes pride in where they work and understands that the little things matter. Someone who notices when the bar needs stocking, when a table needs attention, when a staff member needs direction, or when something isn't being done properly — and takes care of it.
You should be confident enough to lead a team while still being willing to jump behind the bar, run food, clear a table, help a server, or clean something when needed.
We're looking for someone who wants to build something with us, not someone looking for a temporary management position. Ideally, you're looking for a long-term opportunity where you can grow with our business and become an integral part of the Flynn's team for years to come.
What We Offer
- A leadership position with real responsibility and autonomy
- The opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the operation of a well-established local pub
- A supportive ownership and management team
- A fast-paced, social, and team-oriented work environment
- Opportunities for growth as our business continues to evolve
- Competitive compensation based on experience
- Staff meals and applicable staff perks
- A team that values hard work, integrity, accountability, and having fun while doing it
Our Expectations
At Flynn's, integrity, cleanliness, consistency, and exceptional hospitality are non-negotiable.
We expect our managers to lead by example, treat our staff and guests with respect, communicate openly, and take ownership of their responsibilities.
If you're the kind of person who walks into a restaurant and immediately notices what needs to be done — and then actually does it — we want to hear from you.
Please apply with your resume and a brief introduction telling us why you think you'd be a great fit for Flynn's Public House.
