Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial and residential spaces. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure health standards are met
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies are low
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning duties
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and professionalism
Skills
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners
- Good organizational skills to manage time efficiently across multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures is a plus
