Samsom Industries is looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver.
When Trucking/Hauling operations are slow, your duties may also include skid steer Operator (or other machinery); Misc. maintenance/Shop work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operates vehicle in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all municipal, provincial and federal requirements and Company expectations for the Fleet; maintains a clean and safe vehicle.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections (Daily) of assigned vehicle using utilizing standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); note all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair. (All paper work is required daily).
- Strapping loads; Keep Truck box & interior clean.
- Able to drive Standard.
- Self means of transformation.
- Basic Mechanical skills
- Must be able to use electronic apps (such as on your phone, or E-logs)
- Safety Gear Requirements: Hard Hat; Safety Boots; Vest; Gloves.
Flexible hours; evening/weekend & night shifts are possible.
