Role Description

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst, Robotic Process Automation to play an integral role in our RPA Centre of Excellence (COE) organization. In this dynamic environment, you will work closely with business teams to identify automation opportunities, build the business case, deliver automation projects, and help advance our COE capabilities.

What This Role Requires:
Hands on experience in delivering RPA (Robotic Process Automation) projects
Ability to understand and analyze business processes across a wide domain
Good facilitation and interviewing skills to evaluate business processes in order to identify automation opportunities and to create business cases
Expertise in creating business process maps, end to end process steps and Business Requirements Documentation

Responsibilities:
Analyze and observe business processes to understand process steps, interdependencies, and applications used to complete business transactions
Conduct interviews with End Users or Subject Matter Experts (SME) to understand the business processes and potential for automation
Identify suitable candidates for automation including opportunity prioritization, provide recommendations to alter or reengineer processes to automate and/or improve automation potential
Develop business cases for automation opportunities and RPA solutions
Advise stakeholders on benefits and savings of automation; create and present a business view RPA solution design
Create detailed Process Definition and Requirements Documentation that is required for Developer to build an automated solution which includes alternate process scenarios and expected outcomes
Validate the automated activities with SME’s during Verification and User Acceptance Testing to ensure the automated solution has met the requirements
Manage the delivery of RPA projects, create and manage project plans, resolve risks and issues, and track benefits
Collaborate with RPA Systems Architect and Developers and business stakeholders on issues/conflicts that impact time, cost, scope, quality, and risk of projects
Manage relationship with business stakeholders & enhance RPA pipeline
Champion RPA vision & maintain a pulse on key market trends
Create and maintain a culture of innovation
Adhere to COE technology organization’s technical design and documentation standards and conform to applicable architectural standards
Lead and or contribute to the development and evolvement of our internal COE initiatives and capabilities

Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as RPA Business Analyst capacity with work directly aligned to the specific responsibilities of this role
Hands on experience with features and functionalities of RPA - Robotic Process Automation tools such as Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UI Path, Open Span
Experience with back-office processes and process mapping. Experience with Insurance Processes would be an asset.
Effective planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, organize and complete multiple tasks with high attention to detail
Exposure to delivering in both Agile and Waterfall methodology
Strong commitment to professional customer service excellence
Ability to adapt to change and perform effectively under pressure
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Computer literacy with mapping, spreadsheets, word processing and database software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, etc.)
Project Management designation is an asset
