Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve food items following safety and sanitation standards, ensuring quality and presentation meet company guidelines..
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including assembling orders and maintaining kitchen cleanliness, to uphold food safety standards.
- keep all customers table and counters clean all time, time to time moping and brooming using equipments to keep floor cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Introduce customers to Loyalty rewards Program and assist them joining it.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, counters, and food prep stations by following sanitation protocols.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of food handling and safety procedures. Food Handler Certificate is an Asset. If not we will support you to get one.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse customers. Ability to handle multiple customers without letting customers standing in line for long.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, calculating totals, and giving accurate change.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is a plus, along with a background in the food industry or serving roles.
