Kärcher North America, Inc, a subsidiary of Alfred Kärcher GmbH & Co. KG, a global leader in cleaning technologies, is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist for our Blackwood, New Jersey Facility.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager of Recruitment and Employee Relations, the HR Generalist will be responsible for professional human resources work partnering with management and employees in the areas of employee relations, organizational culture, compensation administration, compliance, workers compensation, staffing, benefits administration, wellness and unemployment administration. This position will serve as the single-point of contact for Human Resources in the Chandler facility and will be part of the Kärcher North America HR team. The incumbent will successfully deliver high caliber HR service and will take responsibility for a variety of special projects.
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will have a BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a human resource generalist role.
- Experience serving a non-exempt non-union service environment or similar population is highly desirable.
- Requires considerable knowledge of human resource management principles and practices and practical knowledge of employment law.
- The ability to utilize excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of employees within the organization, to express ideas clearly in written and oral communications, and to proficiently use MS Office tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, are also required.
- PHR or SPHR certification is desirable.
