Deburr Technician

Hours of Work: 44 hrs per week

  • Coordinate the work to be completed as directed by the supervisor, ensuring production and quality targets are met
  • Operating machinery such as rotary grinders to clean/debur finished components
  • Deburring of high precision machined components using hand tools, chemical processes and polishing
  • Clean and maintain all equipment
  • Ensure products meets client requirements and specifications
  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing atmosphere, where a high degree of attention to details and multi-tasking is required
  • Fast-paced environment doing repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods
  • Team player with an eye for quality & a flexible approach towards work hours, overtime/ occasional weekend will be required to meet workload requirements
  • All other duties assigned by Supervisor

Basic blueprint reading capabilities and experience using a wide variety of precision measuring instruments (i.e. micrometers, calipers, etc)
