Build Your Career as a Pivot Irrigation Specialist
Delta Irrigation is expanding our agricultural irrigation service team in Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan and is looking for two Journeyperson Electricians who want to specialize in center-pivot irrigation.
This is an opportunity for experienced electricians to move beyond general electrical work and develop specialized expertise in large-scale agricultural irrigation, center pivots, controls, automation and emerging irrigation technologies.
You don't need to be a pivot expert on day one. If you're a strong Journeyperson Electrician with agricultural, industrial or irrigation experience and want to specialize in pivots, we are prepared to invest in your training and development.
The Opportunity
As a Journeyperson Electrician – Pivot Irrigation, you will become part of Delta's growing Alberta/Saskatchewan irrigation team, working primarily on center-pivot irrigation systems and associated electrical, pumping and control equipment.

· Performing preventive maintenance and seasonal inspections

Travel & Seasonal Work
Center-pivot irrigation is a field-service business, and candidates should understand the seasonal nature of the position.
The role requires regular travel throughout Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan, including some overnight travel. Spring and summer are the busiest periods and may require extended hours, occasional weekends and response to time-sensitive customer service requirements.
Delta works to coordinate service activities efficiently and minimize unnecessary travel, but candidates must be comfortable working throughout the Alberta/Saskatchewan territory.
