Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and organized workspace
- Assist with food handling procedures by supporting the kitchen team in maintaining hygiene standards
- Support food preparation activities by ensuring all necessary utensils and equipment are clean and ready for use
- Follow proper food safety protocols and sanitation procedures at all times
- Manage waste disposal responsibly, ensuring recycling and trash removal are handled appropriately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards in food service environments
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including basic food handling and preparation support
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality service
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks effectively
