Summary
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our dedicated team. This role is vital in ensuring the optimal performance of our fleet and customer vehicles, supporting our mission to deliver reliable automotive solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Conduct inspections on trucks, excavators, forklifts, and other industrial machinery.
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in training junior technicians when needed.
- Support the dealership’s commitment to quality service by staying updated on industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Must have an Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician License (required)
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role within an automotive or heavy machinery dealership.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
