Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders with attention to detail.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders and payments accurately.
- Handle cash transactions with precision and ensure proper cash handling procedures.
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are maintained.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, workstations, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks when needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly.
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
- Kitchen or food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings as needed.
