Specific Job Description

The Administrative Assistant is a key role in the Victoria office, acting as a central point of communication between program functions. This role provides primary office support for the site and interfaces with staff at the customer locations and other admin assistances throughout the country. You will be directly supporting the site manager. The role is highly visible and will contribute to the overall positive working environment at Lockheed Martin Canada. Travel planning and event coordination will be required for senior leaders.

The role has the support of the extended Lockheed Martin Canada administrative team. You will work with deputy program managers and engineering leaders to further the success of their programs.

Works with other admin professionals as required on their duties.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

Organized, detail oriented and possessing a natural customer focus
Experience in a support role on a large program or project
Experience managing an office environment for senior managers
Experience tackling multiple schedules and priorities
NATO Secret and Controlled Goods clearance required

Bilingual is an asset
Ability to take initiative and deliver an excellent customer experience
Highly dependable and thorough
Ability to work well with minimal supervision
Experience booking travel accomodations
