Overview
We are seeking a skilled Shop Foreman / Lead Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of our workshop and ensure the efficient functioning of all repair and maintenance activities.
Compensation
Competitive wage including Health Spending Plan will be negotiated with the selected candidate.
Duties
- Manage and supervise our current maintenance team
- Coordinate workflow and assign tasks to staff
- Inspect vehicles to determine necessary repairs
- Conduct quality control checks on completed work
- Order parts and maintain inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Troubleshoot technical issues as needed
Qualifications
- Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic preferred
- Proven experience with heavy duty trucks and equipment
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
