Oversees and carries out various administrative and financial activities to provide essential support to Conventions and Reservations, specifically for bookings made by different SFUO clubs and Faculty associations. Serves as the main point of contact for all those who require bookings and liaises with students on a regular basis.
Knowledge of administration and accounting principles normally acquired through postsecondary education or equivalent experience
Minimum three years’ demonstrated experience in a similar role
Experience in interpreting, explaining, and applying policies and procedures
Knowledge of University of Ottawa policies, procedures, structure, and governance is an asset
Experience in providing client services, coupled with the positive attitude needed to provide excellent customer service
Experience in producing reports
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to set priorities
Demonstrated initiative and creativity
Discretion in handling highly confidential information
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of computer systems and software, including financial systems, spreadsheets, databases, Internet browsers and email
Bilingualism – French and English (spoken and written)

Temporary assignment or contract from February 15, 2020 to May 15, 2021, with possibility of renewal. Eligibility to benefits and union affiliation will be determined upon hiring.
