Your responsibilities
- This post is responsible for driving Service Contract sales growth in the Olympus Medical Service Business Unit in line with the financial & strategic targets for the territory. Responsible for selling the benefits and value of Olympus Service Contract portfolio to healthcare providers through the cultivation of customer relationships and understanding of their needs.
You will be responsible for the direct sales and promotion of the Olympus service contract portfolio on the territory. This will involve you engaging stakeholders to negotiate contracts and; using data and insights to create win win solutions for customers and internal stakeholders, secure deals that are aligned with department and company business objectives.
This role will cover Surrey, Hampshire, Kent, West and East Sussex, Berkshire and Greater London
Management of Sales Opportunities
- Using advanced selling techniques and excellent business acumen to negotiate Service Contract deals in a highly competitive environment.
- Develop strategic pricing proposals, evidenced based value props and business cases to secure long-term business in the territory.
- Use accurate & up to date Healthcare market intelligence & customer knowledge to tailor solutions & proposals according to Customer strategic priorities.
Cultivate Rich Partnerships with Customers
- Managing the Service business within your territory in line with company targets including accurate forecasting of sales opportunities
- Develop and deliver customer sales presentations in conjunction with customer requirements and communicate Olympus solutions & value propositions.
- Strategically manage customer relationships & sales activities including the use of CRM to effectively manage the business on Territory.
- Co-ordinating sales activity across the customer stakeholder group (incl. Clinical areas) to ensure they objectively understand the full value proposition through data and insights into their service provision.
- Responsible for management of 1/4ly Service Contract Review meetings to present evidence of market leading service delivery and value to key stakeholders
- Ambassador for the Service Business Unit internally & Olympus externally
Senior Territory Manager
As above and in addition…
- Advanced selling techniques & technical knowledge of the core product portfolio & feedback of market intelligence to line manager & relevant product managers
- Buddy/Support new starters & active participation in Team meetings
Your qualification
- Ideally degree level qualification - desirable
Experience within a field sales environment, ideally within the healthcare industry or service solution-based sales sector covering multi stakeholder deals & value-based selling.
Minimum 3 Years’ experience with track record of success
Self-motivated with a strong will to succeed.
Highly skilled in organizing and planning multiple demands & priorities.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Demonstrates high levels of integrity in dealings with external & internal customers.
Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
Highly motivated to provide exceptional customer satisfaction.
Focussed personal continuous improvement & development.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
