Position Overview
Wave Counselling & Wellness is a private therapy practice based in Paradise, NL, serving Newfoundland and Labrador — plus virtual clients throughout Nova Scotia, and Ontario. Inspired by the ebb and flow of the ocean, our team of therapists offers individual, couples, family, and sex therapy in a warm, private, client-centred environment. We’re growing our couples and relationship therapy team and looking for a trained therapist to join us as an independent associate.
About the Role
As a couples and relationship therapist at Wave, you’ll build and manage your own caseload supported by a collaborative team and an established, well-reviewed practice. You’ll see clients in-person at our Paradise office and/or virtually across NL - your schedule, your way.
Requirements
- Current registration/licensure in good standing (RSW, CCC, or equivalent) in Newfoundland and Labrador
- Training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT/ICEEFT) or the Gottman Method (Level 2 or higher preferred)
- Experience working with couples and relationship issues
- Comfortable with both in-person and virtual delivery
- Strong self-management skills — this is an independent contractor role
- Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: From $136.00 per hour
