Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Cashier. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent time management skills, and experience in food service operations. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills in a fast-paced setting.
This is a hands-on, mobile coffee role ideal for someone experienced in both barista service and technical setup. You will be responsible for transporting, assembling, operating, and dismantling a coffee bar onsite each shift.
Schedule:
- Thursdays & Fridays
- July – October
- 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Duties
- Transport and set up coffee machine and bar equipment onsite
- Lifting up to 120 lb
- Assemble and break down the full coffee station each shift
- Operate espresso and coffee service during morning hours
- Serve simple pre-prepared frozen breakfast items
- Maintain cleanliness and efficient service throughout
- Pack down and leave site after each shift
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling of food and beverages.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with food preparation when required.
- Ensure quick turnaround during busy periods while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements:
- Previous barista experience
- Comfortable with transporting and setting up coffee equipment
- Food Handler Certification (required)
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Punctual, responsible, and comfortable with early morning shifts
- Strong customer service and attention to detail.
