What This Position Is All About:
As a systems analyst you are responsible for the development of fully integrated business solutions and/or the integration of legacy systems and other acquired software packages. Working on all sizes of development projects and programs, you will implement all portions of systems through analysis, design, build, testing, documentation, warranty, operational hand-off, and training. May sometimes function as Project Leader.

Ability to support developers and other peers during the project development phases as required.
Strong communication & interpersonal skills with focus on teamwork, sharing knowledge & expertise as it relates to the role.
Self-starter and quick learner. Sound ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.
Ability to take ownership of assigned work. Ability to operate in a fast and dynamic organization with tight deadlines.

You Also Have:
Post secondary education in Information Technology, Process Engineering or related field.
3-5 years� experience in application design & implementation; ideally with Retail systems (Merchandising; Supply Chain; Logistics)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
Ability to make decisions and take an innovative approach to business problems.
Understands and expierenced with end to end SDLC process.
Flexible with respect to both Waterfall or Agile methodologies
Proficient in MS Office tools including MS Visio, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Previous programming experience. Knowledge of and possible working experience with PL/SQL, Informatica/Informatica BDM, MQ, Web Services/SOAP, Bi Publisher, ODI/XML, Unix O/S including shell script development, .NET Framework - v4 and higher, C# (VB.NET exposure), ASP.NET MVC - v4 and higher, WCF, JSON, Web API, JavaScript - jQuery, AngularJS, SQL Server 2010 and higher, Oracle 11g and higher, TFS 2010.
Understanding of, and possible working experience, with Hadoop Environment, particularly Kafka, Scoop, Hive, Spark, HBase, H-SQL / SQL.
Understanding of and possible working experience with Informatica Big Data managements as well as Cloudera specific components: Impala & Kudu

As The Systems Analyst, You Will:
Collaborate with business partners and IT teams in the planning, design and development of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
Develop functional designs and technical specifications for interfaces, data conversions, reports and application extensions in the implementation of enterprise business solutions.
Design and develop feasible technical solutions to meet simple to complex business needs.
Develop and integrate solutions in accordance with HBC�s development methodology and programming standards.
Creative problem solving � producing quick and well thought out solutions.
Understand critical business needs and prioritize tasks for team.
Communicate analysis results and make recommendations to management.
Work with the QA and Support teams in the testing and implementation of developed solutions.
Lead people and small projects as required.
