Job Overview
Active Care is a large primary care medical group in Kanata. Chosen applicants will work closely with their supervising physician. We are looking for applicants who work well in a fast-paced environment in a team environment and are open to working with high volume practices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide a full range of primary care services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow up, education and referrals
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pathologies and diseases
- Work closely with supervising physician who will collaborate on and be involved in
most, if not all, of the Physician Assistant’s appointments
- Inbox management and follow up of ordered investigations
- Maintain clear and up to date notes
- Work evenings and possibly weekends
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Holds certification as a Physician Assistant
Preferred:
- 1+ year of experience working in Family Medicine
- Familiarity with Accuro EMR
Duration:
- One year contract with the option to renew if both parties are agreeable
Compensation:
- Hourly wage of $40-56
