Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials within the facility. The Material Handler plays a vital role in ensuring smooth shipping, receiving, and inventory processes to support overall operational success.
Duties
- Load and unload materials using forklifts, crane, or other heavy equipment
- Pick and pack orders accurately utilizing order picker and warehouse management system
- Operate heavy equipment safely for material handling and transportation within the warehouse
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Perform routine inspections of equipment such as forklifts and cranes to ensure proper functioning
- Support construction or maintenance projects as needed involving heavy lifting or load & unload activities
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse management system operation preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, cranes, and order pickers
- Proven experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, load & unload procedures, and heavy lifting techniques
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and best practices for heavy equipment operation

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
