ABOUT THE ROLE
IPECC Industrial is hiring contract Project Schedulers to support high voltage transmission capital project delivery in Edmonton. Working with a team of Project Managers, you will build, maintain, and coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 across a portfolio of active construction and infrastructure programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, update, monitor, and distribute project schedules in Primavera P6
- Consult with Project Managers and technical leads to establish tasks, assignments, and milestones
- Develop and maintain an effective scheduling management system across the transmission program portfolio
- Coordinate project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Monitor project timelines and deadlines; identify potential delays and facilitate timely intervention
- Evaluate performance and prepare project progress reports
- Accommodate updates and changes to schedules as projects evolve
- Support integration of individual project schedules into the program-level Primavera schedule
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related discipline
- 3 or more years of project scheduling experience in construction, utility, or industrial environments
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required
- Experience in transmission, substation, or heavy civil construction scheduling is strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex, multi-project environments
- PMP or PMI-SP designation is an asset
