Summary
We are looking for a Corporate Paralegal to work closely in administrative and operational support, as required. You will perform a wide variety of tasks as assigned by the Implementation Leads.
The Position will be a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for an intrinsically motivated individual seeking to satisfy senior executive and other business objectives while striving to create value whenever possible.
Your role will include:
- Assisting the Implementation Leads with project deliverables, as described in the project plan
- Coordinating project activities, including preparation of documents required after insurance policy placement.
- Coordinating the file-closing process with a transaction’s stakeholders
- Preparing the initial documents for lenders, insurance companies, and other relevant external parties
- Providing updates on timing, blockers, and completion of projects to all levels of staff and management
- Liaising with third party service providers to obtain the documentation required for project completion and ongoing file servicing
- Facilitating the completion of goals and deliverables throughout the organization, and effective communication of Stalwart’s vision
- Participation in ad hoc projects that may involve process improvement and redesign, productivity review and staff deployment, and providing strategic information to support those processes
Required Skills or Experience
Candidates seeking to apply for the Corporate Paralegal position must satisfy the following requirements:
- Legal assistant or paralegal diploma from a recognized institution or other relevant training/experience
- Five to seven years of recent experience that includes assisting with the implementation of projects with a wide range of stakeholder groups in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, project management and database applications
- Highly organized with high attention to detail and follow-through
- Utilizes initiative, vision, independent thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities to implement project plans and realize project completion.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of available resources for projects and applicable stakeholder groups, provides feedback and detailed analysis on project processes
- Works effectively under time pressure to meet deadlines, balance work priorities, and resolve problems in a timely manner
Salary and Benefits
- $70,000 - $90,000 base salary, with potential bonus and profit-sharing available based on individual performance
