We are looking to hire a full time, licensed Early Childhood Educator - who is honest, positive, friendly, patient, flexible, self motivated, hardworking, with a strong work ethic, a sense of creativity, wonder and curiosity - to join our supportive team of loving, enthusiastic, professional Educators.
We are looking for an educator to cover a maternity leave - there may be a long term employment option, after the mat leave completes.
Our ideal ECE works well within a team environment, understands the dynamics and importance of child development, has practical experience in the early childhood classroom, is excited to work and grow in the EC field, can flexibly and creatively plan and facilitate meaningful art, circle, literacy, science, nature, math and outdoor learning opportunities, is knowledgeable of, and able to maintain licensing standards and regulations within our classroom.
Our learning curriculum is a blend of Waldorf natural rhythms and seasonal elements, Reggio ingredients for play-based curiosity and exploration, and Montessori academics and social graces.

Must Haves To Apply:
- Must already hold current Canadian Residency and be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must already be living in the mid Vancouver Island area
- Must have a current, BC Registered, ECE Certificate
- Must have a valid First Aid Certificate
- Must be willing to acquire a current Criminal Records Check
- Must have previous work experience with young children
- Must have 3 written reference letters
- Must have an up to date resume
