Robert Half Finance and Accounting has an opportunity with a successful company as an Accounts Payable Clerk. Candidates looking to work with a dynamic organization with a growing team will be interested in this Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position, where they will match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The job site for the full-time Accounts Payable Clerk is in the St. Claire Toronto area. This position offers a starting salary of $45,000 with vacation and full health and dental benefits.

Your main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
  • Prepare and run monthly cheques, file all A/P information and record daily bank deposits.
  • Ensure reconciliations of invoice approval forms and update vendor information on a regular basis.
  • Prepare monthly retention cheques and data entries for invoices.
  • File cash receipts and ensure effective processing.
  • Maintain invoice approval forms and execute daily processes in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.
Key Skills and Qualifications required for this role are:
  • 3 or more years of Accounts Payable experience.
  • Must have working experience with Newstar accounting software.
  • Real Estate or Construction experience.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
