Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring smooth meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
- Support food service operations by preparing ingredients, assembling dishes, and ensuring timely delivery of meals
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Help with basic cooking tasks such as chopping, mixing, and plating as directed
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies to prevent spoilage or contamination
- Follow all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment for all staff
- Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is a plus
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment within the food industry is beneficial
- Strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
