Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, preparing high-quality meals, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent teamwork skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Assist in meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure health standards are met
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients as required
- Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with team members to deliver excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cooking, food preparation, or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and kitchen operations
- Basic understanding of the food industry standards and hygiene regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Pay: $17.60 per hour
