Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Line Cook/Cashier to join our vibrant restaurant team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring food safety and proper handling at all times
- Assist with food presentation and meal assembly to ensure timely service
- Operate cash register, process customer transactions accurately, and handle payments efficiently
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude, take orders, and provide excellent service in a courteous manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including kitchen surfaces and dining areas
- Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management when required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety practices
- Strong serving skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus
