Instrumentation Technician – Test Bench
Mississauga, ON | Full-Time | Monday–Friday Days | $34.00–$49.00/hour
Are you an Instrumentation Technician with experience in calibration and precision measurement We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the calibration and validation of high-precision instrumentation used in a leading aerospace manufacturing environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly technical role focused on ensuring the accuracy and reliability of critical test equipment.
Responsibilities

Perform calibration and validation of precision measuring instruments, including temperature, pressure, voltage, current, vibration, flow meters, load cells, and force measurement devices.
*
Calibrate instrumentation used on turbine engine test benches.
*
Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and provide technical support to production as required.
*
Perform testing and verification to ensure equipment meets required tolerances and specifications.
*
Maintain accurate calibration documentation and records.
*
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to calibration processes and procedures.
*
Provide technical guidance and support on instrumentation and measurement systems.
Qualifications
*
College diploma in Instrumentation Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Instrumentation & Control, or an equivalent technical program.
*
1–3 years of experience in instrumentation, calibration, metrology, or a related technical field.
*
Experience with instrument calibration, tolerance verification, and measurement validation.
*
Hands-on experience using calibration and/or communication equipment.
*
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
*
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
*
Knowledge of Met/Team and/or Met/Cal software is considered an asset.
*
Familiarity with ISO-17025 quality standards is an asset.
*
Valid Ontario driver's licence.
*
Fluent in English (written and spoken); French is considered an asset.
*
Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Compensation & Benefits
*
$34.00–$49.00 per hour, based on experience.
*
Full-time, Monday to Friday, day shift (40 hours/week).
*
