Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, purchases, and returns
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, credit, and digital payments
- Handle cash handling duties with precision, including giving change and balancing registers at shift end
- Conduct product demos when applicable, highlighting features to encourage sales and upselling opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products on shelves and displays effectively
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to serve multiple customers while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
Skills
- Multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a plus for engaging a broader customer base
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and balancing registers confidently
- Knowledge of POS systems and familiarity with merchandising techniques
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks seamlessly during shifts
