Gas Fitter (G2) – HVAC Technician

Britain Mechanical Group is a growing HVAC company based in Fenwick, Ontario, proudly serving the Niagara region for 30 years. We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable Gas Fitter (G2) to join our team. Position Overview
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining residential heating and cooling systems, including boilers in both residential and commercial applications. The ideal candidate brings strong technical ability, a solid work ethic, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- G2 Gas Technician license (required)
- OBT2 (Oil Burner Technician 2) considered a strong asset
- 313D Residential Air Conditioning Mechanic license considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Experience in residential HVAC service and installation
- Experience with commercial boiler systems considered a strong asset
Daily Duties
- Install, service, and maintain residential heating and cooling equipment
- Install and service boilers in both residential and commercial applications
- Work on gas furnaces, boilers, water heaters, and related systems
- Diagnose problems, complete repairs, and keep customers informed
- Handle day-to-day service calls across the Niagara region
- Keep paperwork and job notes accurate and up to date
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly wage: $25–$40 per hour (based on experience and certifications)
- Employment contract position
