What will your typical day look like?

As part of the A/P team you will provide first line support to internal users on all related purchasing policies and procedures, investigate discrepancies, communicate with vendors and internal personal to ensure completeness of transactions. You will also work with the accounts payable team to streamline processes, reduce errors and increase productivity through issue identification and utilization of best practices. When requested you will provide analysis of key metric results and make recommendations for improvement. An accounting background is necessary as you will be asked to prepare journal entries for submission related to assigned functional responsibilities and support reconciliation of accounts payable transactions and prepare analysis of various AP accounts

About the team

Reporting to Manager of Accounts Payable, the Financial Analyst will be working with the Accounts Payable team in the effective management of the Client Triage support of all key vendor accounts managed by the Accounts Payable Triage team. This a small close team who works independently and collaboratively. As part of our values you will lead at every level

You are someone who has:
University degree in accounting or business/ 5-6 years or related years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent Customer Service experience
Ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with financial system, Coupa/SAP is an asset
Working knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
Organized, detail oriented, flexible, self-starter & highly motivated
