- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to design customized chemical treatment programs that optimize production processes
- Manage pre-sales activities, including technical consultations, proposal development, and solution positioning to secure new business opportunities
- Conduct analysis of client operations to identify potential improvements using our chemical solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Support project management efforts by coordinating delivery schedules, installation, and ongoing technical support for clients
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in chemical solutions for heavy oil and gas applications
Education
One of:
- Diploma in Chemical Technology.
- Degree in Chemistry.
- Degree in Engineering.
- Degree in Business.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in industrial sales, technical sales, production chemistry, chemical applications, field operations, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated success managing customer relationships and commercial opportunities.
- Experience working within oil and gas with strong understanding of related industrial processes
- Experience supporting customers in field-based environments.
Technical Knowledge
- Chemical applications and treatment programs.
- Heavy Oil Industrial operations and production environments.
- Sampling and testing methodologies.
- Chemical handling, transportation, and transfer processes.
- Customer troubleshooting and technical support.
