Role Overview
A growing advanced manufacturing company is seeking a Process Engineer to support process improvement, product scale-up, equipment optimization, and manufacturing projects.This is a hands-on role ideal for an early-career engineer who enjoys solving production challenges, working closely with manufacturing equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. You'll spend time both on the production floor and collaborating with technical and operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Plastics, Polymer, or a related Engineering discipline
- 1–3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
- Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, or similar
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with plastics processing, extrusion, injection molding, compounding, or related manufacturing processes
- Exposure to equipment design, tooling, process improvement, or production support
- Experience with root cause analysis, preventive maintenance, or continuous improvement initiatives
- EIT designation or eligibility for registration
- Familiarity with manufacturing data analysis or statistical process control (SPC)
Responsibilities
- Support process optimization, troubleshooting, and manufacturing improvement initiatives
- Assist with equipment, tooling, fixture, and process design projects
- Create and update CAD drawings and engineering documentation
- Investigate production issues and help implement corrective actions
- Support equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and validation activities
- Participate in product trials, process scale-up activities, and new product introductions
- Develop SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, suppliers, and technical teams to improve performance and reliability
- Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives

Compensation & Benefits
