KMC Mining is looking for experienced Maintenance/Workshop laborer to work at our shop in Edmonton who has an interest in the Heavy Duty Technician trade. The laborer will ensure maintenance requirements are met in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned duties in a safe, efficient and environmentally secure manner;
- Maintain cleanliness standards of KMC;
- Snow Removal
- Communicate with supervision to achieve daily plans and activities;
- Participate in a work environment that supports KMC Operating Priorities and Values
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months competent & relevant workshop experience.
- Valid Driver’s license
- Applicants must demonstrate a proven safety record, attendance record and suitable workplace behavior.
- Must be physically fit and have the ability to do heavy lifting in a safe manner.
Rotation & Accommodation:
The normal shift rotation is Monday to Friday (Days Only).
