Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Measure, cut, and shape steel, and other materials according to specifications
- Assemble and fasten materials using hand tools, power tools, and equipment
- Install windows, doors, siding, and other interior components
- Frame walls, roofs, floors, and ceilings using metal studs
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or Genie boom to move materials and equipment on the job site
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a framer or carpenter in the construction industry
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction drawings
- Knowledge of various framing techniques and building codes
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely
- Experience with drywall installation, and T-bar ceiling is a plus
