Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for our clients.
Duties
- Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation by regularly sanitizing tools and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired outcomes and offer professional advice on hair care.
- Upsell hair products and additional services to enhance the client experience and contribute to salon revenue.
- Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking clients in and out, and managing payments.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Foster a positive environment by building relationships with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with services provided.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Knowledge of current hair styling trends, techniques, and products.
- Ability to upsell products and services while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
- Experience with front desk operations is preferred but not required.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent sanitation practices.
- A valid cosmetology license is required for this position.
