Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector ensures that manufactured products meet internal quality standards as well as customer requirements. The incumbent performs dimensional and visual inspections, prepares non-conformance reports, and participates in quality monitoring throughout the manufacturing process.

More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing dimensional and visual inspections of machined and/or welded components.
- Inspecting incoming equipment and subcontracted fabricated parts.
- Developing inspection and test plans as well as inspection reports.
- Preparing and following up on non-conformance reports.
- Ensuring all required inspections and verifications are completed prior to customer delivery.
- Performing material identification and entering data into the ERP system.
- Participating in the continuous improvement of quality processes.
- Carrying out any other related duties associated with the position.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or inspection within a mechanical manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of machining processes and metrology.
- Understanding of machining manufacturing methods used to produce various components for stationary equipment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in both French and English to support our English-speaking clientele.
